Aline Taireh is the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Westfield in the United States. Aline joined Westfield in January 2007. In her role, Aline advises the company in all aspects of its shopping center projects and operational matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating various documents in connection with real property purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, secured and unsecured financing transactions.
Prior to Westfield, Aline was an Associate at O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles where she focused her practice on representing clients in real estate transactions. Aline also coordinated and managed participation in the Homeless Court pro bono program instituted by Public Counsel.
Aline graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 2001 where she was a member of the Journal of Law and Policy and the Moot Court Honor Society, Executive Board. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Irvine in 1997. She was born in Damascus, Syria and immigrated to California with her family in 1984. She now lives in Santa Monica with her husband and daughter.
