Leadership Development Manager

Mikhael (he/they) joined the C5LA team in 2025 as a Leadership Development Manager. Prior to this role, they had been living in Portland, OR where they served in various leadership roles at Non-Profit organizations throughout the PDX area. Mikhael received a BA in African American Studies with a minor in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles and has dedicated their career to giving back to communities (particularly underserved & underrepresented youth from low income communities). As a proud LA native, they are happy to be back home and are excited to support the C5 Leaders in their journeys towards their own versions of personal success.

Mikhael has been writing poetry since they were five years old and enjoys spending time in nature while brainstorming their next set of catchy rhyme schemes. Aside from writing poetry, they spend a large majority of their free time getting quality time in with their fiancee & two cats. They are also an avid music listener and enjoys watching their favorite team (the Los Angeles Lakers) play.
