Data and Evaluations Manager

Edgar(He/him) joined the C5LA team in 2025 as the Data Manager. He grew up in Inglewood and attended Carleton College, where he earned a BA in Physics. After college, he joined Americorps and served for 3 years in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Watts. As an Americorps member, he worked on creating intervention sessions in math and ELA for ninth-grade students. He has previously worked for an education non-profit where he used data to help staff and Americorps members make data-informed decisions to help improve student outcomes in LAUSD. Edgar hopes to use data to highlight the strengths and successes of students and to tell their stories.
